ADDING TEXTURE TO RIBBON
Look closely at the ribbon. Can you see the dots? They are hard to see in this picture but in real life they are gorgeous! And so easy to do! Just spray your ribbon with Starch and let dry. Then place it in the Perfect Polka Dots embossing Folder, add a couple of pieces of card stock under the folder for shims, and run it through the Big Shot. This technique works best with a smooth ribbon such as Taffeta or Satin.

I used the stamp set Friends 24-7 for this card. Stamped the bird and branches on Neutrals Ivory Card stock, colored with markers, covered with VersaMark ink and embossed with Glassy Glaze powder. I embossed twice for even coverage. The card is Kraft card stock stamped with En Francais Background in Close to Cocoa, then the design from Friends 24-7 in Old Olive. The ribbon I used is the Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Mini.
