Today's card features a technique that I have wanted to try for a while. It is called Sepia (the same as the photo type) and it is super easy. I stamped the main image on Kraft card stock using Basic Brown ink (which is waterproof), and then added the light color by diluting Vanilla craft ink. Added a bit more Basic Brown ink with an aquapainter to darken some of the areas in the bird. Did some sponging with Basic Brown, mounted on Vanilla, distressed the edges, added a Jumbo brad and a piece of Soft Suede ribbon tied with hemp, and then mounted all onto a Kraft 4 1/4" square card. To finish it off I stamped the greeting on Vanilla, distressed the edges and sponged Basic Brown.
