Popped Background Technique
My clubs did this technique but we used the Elebration and Medallion stamps. I wanted to try to make a more masculine Birthday card with this technique and this is the result. It really is easy to do, just stamp your background for the card (in this case I used the Woodgrain Background stamp), and then stamp it again on a scrap piece of the same cardstock. Stamp your image (from Under the Stars) on the scrap paper where you would like it positioned ultimately on the card, which is determined by the pattern. Cut the image out, line it up with the pattern on the card and attach it with dimensionals. This picture doesn't really give you the true effect, much nicer IRL.
